The small scattered village of Stanzach is situated on both sides of the Namlos River in the Lechtal at the entrance of the Namloser Tal. Numerous houses are located on a terrace running along the valley above of the Lechtal, which runs along the valley. The holiday village of Fallerschein also belongs to Stanzach. Around Fallerschein, once an Alpine settlement, grass on the pasture lands was harvested and used complementarily for the livestock, which did not find enough food on the scanty soils in the valley. The panorama road into the Namloser Tal, Berwang and Zwischentoren starts in Stanzach.
