Ebbs is situated in the northeast corner of the Tyrol (locally called "Untere Schranne"). The scattered village of Ebbs is characterized by farmhouses, a great number of impressive guesthouses and the baroque parish church. Ebbs consists of the village of Oberndorf, the relatively new settlements of Eichelwang and Weidach near Kufstein, Tafang and Wagrein in the north, as well as the scarcely populated Mühltal that extends over a hilly area and Buchberg on the slopes of the Zahmer Kaiser Mountain Range. The isolated farmhouses along the Talweg Road above the steep valley of the Kaiser Torrent can only be reached on a road from Kufstein. Even though there are several commercial enterprises and tourism, Ebbs is a commuter village.
