Gargazon, with its 490 hectares, is the smallest village in the central Etschtal. The centre is situated left of the river, at the bottom of the Tschöggl Mountain. The Aschler River in the north forms the border to neighbouring Burgstall. Most of the land belonging to Gargazon, including the small part west of the Etsch River, is agricultural land (80%) with an emphasis on fruit-growing. Gargazon has three warehouses for the storage of fruits.
