Tscherms in the Burggrafenamt is situated between Marling in the north and Lana in the south in the Etschtal. The village stretches along the road from Meran to Oberlana on the western bank of the Etsch River and at the foot and slopes of the Marlinger Mountain. The village and cultural landscape is characterized by orchards and vineyards on the slopes. Due to its proximity to Meran, Tscherms, like many other villages close to a town, has experienced a constantly expanding population and the construction of new houses within the last few years.
