Mils bei Imst is the smallest village in the political district of Imst. The scattered village with its mild climate west of the district capital is situated on the southern side in the Inntal. The quality of life for the people in Mils has improved, since a tunnelled bypass was built and the Milser-Au became a nature reserve. A new service area along the Inntal Highway has generated new jobs and tax revenues for the village.
