Zöblen is the smallest village in the Tannheimertal. The compact scattered village is situated on a fan on the northern side of the valley. The farmhouses are characterized by shingled facades in the west, to protect them from the weather. Isolated farmhouses surrounded by alpine pasture are situated on the northern slope. Since the opening of the bypass, travellers only have to go through the village of Katzensteig. Close to the tourist centre of Tannheim, tourism in Zöblen has developed modestly. |
