The village of Iselsberg-Stronach stretches along the slopes of the Isels Mounatin, which links the Drautal with the Mölltal and the Großglockner Mountain. The Dölsacher Torrent runs through Iselsberg, dividing the village into two parts. Originally Iselsberg was a scattered village which has expanded especially along the road on the saddle due to its geographical position with a great view to the Lienzer Dolomites Mountain Range. On the other side of the valley the village of Stronach, which has expanded too, is away from the main road. Iselsberg-Stronach with the holiday village of "Lienzer Dolomiten" near the Iselsberg Saddle has one of the highest proportions of holiday homes in Eastern Tyrol. |
