Image collection »Reschensee«

The Reschensee is a man-made reservoir and lies in the Upper-Vinschgau region. When the reservoir was completed in 1950, the old village of Graun was flooded. Today the spire of the former parish church is the only building which has remained from the village. Today the spire is a tourist attraction for all travellers going over the Reschen Pass. The so called Haidersee is situated several kilometres further down the valley. The Etsch runs out of this lake.
