The ecovillage of Pfunds is situated in the Oberen Gericht region on the fans of the torrents of the Radurschl- and Stubnerbach, which discharge into the Inn River from the southeast and the northwest. The two fans have forced the Inn River to form two loops. The two compact settlements of Pfunds-Stuben and Pfunds-Dorf are located in these loops. Pfunds is rich in impressive farmhouses, which reflect the times when the traffic between Augsburg and Venice over the Oberen Weg, Reschen- and Fernpass Pass gained the village wealth.
