As the name already indicates, Niederndorferberg, formerly known as Ebbserberg, is a settlement on one of the terraces, which are to be found along the Inn River in the Tyrol. Niederndorferberg is situated in a mountain farming region and even though socio-economic changes within the last years have led to the development of smaller hamlets, it still has its scattered village character. Niederndorferberg belongs to the parish of Niederndorf. Despite its small population Niederndorferberg has a notable infrastructure. The Wildbichl Game Park is a recreation centre for the entire Untere Schranne region.
