Image collection »St.Jakob i.H.«

St. Jakob in Haus is the smallest village in the district of Kitzbühel. Even though it had already been settled in the 10th century, it was only mentioned in a document in 1308 for the first time. Today St. Jakob encompasses the small scattered village with the church and several hamlets, from which Moosbach and Mühlau have grown into bigger settlements. There are furthermore a number of scattered isolated farmhouses. St. Jakob is situated on a sunny terrace between St. Ulrich and Fieberbrunn. The village has become a quiet, but attractive centre for tourism in the Pillerseetal. The most important attractions are a lift up the Buchensteinwand Mountain and the family adventure park Pillerseetal, which was built some years ago.
