Image collection »Reschenpass«
The Reschenpass has always been an important alpine pass. Emperor Claudius had a Roman road built here that led from the Adriatic over the Reschenpass and Fernpass to the present-day city of Augsburg. In the Middle Ages the Reschenpass was a popular pass for both pilgrims and travellers. From today's pass road one can get a good view of the Reschensee lake in which one can see the church tower of the now sunken village of Alt-Graun.
